A collection of some stuff that I have written.

FreeBSD stuff
FreeBSD is my server operating system of choice. I have been using it since around 1999.
- Installing FreeBSD 6.2 on a Dell Poweredge SC440 — 6.2-RELEASE does not have support for the onboard Broadcom ethernet controller, this is a work-around of sorts.
Linux stuff
Ubuntu Linux stuff
I currently run Debian (Lenny) on my desktop systems (and laptops). Most of this documentation for Ubuntu is fairly valid for Debian too. Maybe I'll update it, some time.
Xubuntu is a derivative of Ubuntu Linux which uses the XFCE desktop environment, instead of Gnome/Metacity. It is lighter and faster than Ubuntu. Xubuntu was my desktop operating system of choice temporarily. Please note that some of these documents might relate to older versions of Ubuntu and may no longer be correct, or may need to be adjusted.
